FALL COACHES

We appreciate you giving your time and efforts to the AYSA soccer community.
Below is some very important information for all fall coaches (U6-U14). Please read through everything carefully. If you have any questions, please let us know.
COACH PACKET PICK UP
Wednesday, July 9, 2025
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Wheeler Fieldhouse (3501 Grand Avenue, Duluth)
One coach from each team will need to pick up their team’s coach packet. There is only one packet per team.
**Cloquet, Esko, Grand Rapids and Superior coaches will have their own club meeting where they will receive their coach packets**
After July 9th, you will get your packet from your coordinator. Find your club coordinator contact information here. If you have any questions about the contents of your coach packet, your schedule, etc., please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can also email us your question(s) at info@arrowheadsoccer.com. We will go over everything in the coach packet at the Thursday virtual coach meeting.
VIRTUAL COACHES MEETING
Thursday, July 10, 2025
6:oo pm OR 7:15 pm (please choose one time slot to attend)
A link will be sent via email to coaches and coordinators on Monday, July 7 and again on the morning of July 10.
All new coaches from all clubs should attend one of the two session. All information will be covered at both time slots. If you are a returning coach that is moving up to a new age level, you are also strongly encourage to attend. All other returning coaches do not have to attend but can if they want a refresher on rules and processes. If you are unable to attend, a summary will be shared with coordinators the day after. You can also reach out to AYSA staff if you have any questions.

COACH REQUIREMENTS
Click Here for information on how to complete all your coaching requirements. These requirements will need to be completed before stepping on the field with your team. These must be completed by all head coaches, assistant coaches, and any team volunteers spending a significant portion of time with an AYSA team(s).
These requirements include:
– Background Check through Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (completed every calendar year).
– Concussion Training completed through the CDC Head’s Up Training or other recognized sports organization that can provide a certificate with the coach’s name and the date of completion (completed every 3 years – 2025, 2024, 2023 are valid).
– Child Abuse Prevention Training through Trusted Coaches or SafeSport (completed every year).
*If you coached soccer in spring/summer 2025, you most likely do not have to complete your requirements again. You can email info@arrowheadsoccer.com to double check your requirements.
