We are so excited to return to the fields this year! But, we also understand the continuing Covid-19 pandemic may make some families hesitant to register for soccer. We want to assure families of a few things when looking to sign up for soccer:
- AYSA is taking the current Covid-19 pandemic seriously. It is important to note that Covid-19 procedures and protocols will be in place for the season. We will follow Covid-19 related Minnesota Executive Orders, MN Health Dept. and CDC guidelines, and protocols required by US Youth Soccer and Minnesota Youth Soccer Association. This means, for example, that players, coaches, and spectators could be required to wear masks for all practices and games, and the number of spectators at games may be limited. Other protocols and/or restrictions may also be necessary.
- As always, the health and safety of our players, coaches, and spectators is our number one priority. If Covid-19 health guidance deems it necessary, we do reserve the right to cancel, delay, or shorten the season. If that does happen, we have asked clubs to post their refund policies on their registration pages. We have also asked clubs to offer a full or partial refund to all participants depending on when/if the season is cancelled.
We understand families need to consider their own situations when signing up for soccer this year. If you have any questions prior to registering your players, please reach out to your club coordinator (listed below) or to the AYSA office – email@example.com, (218) 624-1713.
Registration opened in February. Registrations will remain open until filled.
