U6/U8 Option for Players Born Between September 1 – December 31, 2015
If your player is born between September 1 and December 31, 2015, AYSA is giving parents the option to register their player for either the “Under-6” or “Under-8” play level. AYSA wants players to be excited to play and learn about the game of soccer at this young age. We believe this gives parents of these younger players the opportunity to choose which league best suits their player.
This only applies to those born September 1 through December 31, 2015. This does not apply to the older age groups. This is meant to give those youngest players in our program a chance to learn the game at a more comfortable pace.
Birth Year Guidelines for Fall League 2021:
U6 – Born between September 1, 2015 – March 1, 2017*
U8 – Born between January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2015
U10 – Born between January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2013
U12 – Born between January 1, 2010 – December 31, 2011
U14 – Born between January 1, 2008 – December 31, 2009
*Not all AYSA clubs may be offering this new guideline for the 2021 season. AYSA gave clubs the option to offer this option or not based on their clubs policies for the 2021 season.
